Account Name: Customer B.V.
Industry: ICT
Type of business: B2B
Pain
Customer wanted to migrate their ZOHO applications and data from the US datacenter to the EU datacenter to ensure full GDPR compliance and to decrease the latency experienced by employees based outside of the EU.
Challenge
Since ZOHO is the backbone of the operation for 80 people, the downtime needed to be minimized. Also the risk of "missing" data after the migration needed to be limited.
Solution
The Apora team did a detailed analysis of what needed to be done, and also, worked extensively with the Zoho migrations teams to ensure minimal impact to our business. We managed to minimize the disruption in day-to-day operations by doing a primary, and then delta migration of Mail, Workdrive, and Desk, which are the applications we use everyday, and while we had a couple of issues after the migration, (mostly during the delta sync) it was pretty seamless.
